For over a decade, I have maintained the definitive archive, now held by the alumni-led New Horizons Alumni Association, of materials related to the checkered legacy of New Horizons Youth Ministries, amplifying alumni voices as together we speak to power the challenging truths of our shared experiences.
My organization, New Horizons Alumni Association, incorporated 2018, also provides resources for our fellow alumni and engages the alumni community for healing and empowerment. I use my background in ethnographic research to lead the organization in collecting, digitizing, restoring, and sharing the corporeal knowledge held by the countless individuals whose lives were touched by New Horizons over its 40-year history.
